AT A GLANCE
Choose the Y72 for a low-profile overhead install that uses BNC coax. Its 102.2° fixed view helps cover the threshold and its approach from the same mounting point.
Choose the 5 MP output supported by the analog channel you plan to use.
The fixed 2.8 mm lens covers 102.2° horizontally. Set the camera position to frame the area you need.
Infrared is rated up to 98 ft (30 m). Aim away from close reflective surfaces.
Run BNC coax to the DVR and use a separate 12 V DC adapter with a 2.1 × 5.5 mm plug at the camera.
Use a protected cable entry with the IP68-rated housing.
Match the BNC input to the camera’s output format and resolution.
The ACTi Y72 is a fixed 2.8 mm analog turret for outdoor locations such as a soffit, porch or covered service entrance. Its 5 MP imaging and 102.2° horizontal view suit a wide approach when your DVR supports the selected analog HD mode.
Use TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS over BNC coax. The Y72 outputs up to 20 fps at 2592 × 1944 in TVI or AHD and up to 25 fps at 2880 × 1620 in CVI. Choose a mode your DVR can receive and record. CVBS uses standard definition.
130 dB wide dynamic range helps balance shaded foregrounds and bright openings. The infrared LEDs cover up to 30 m (98 ft). Aim the turret away from close walls and glass to limit infrared reflections.
Run BNC video to a compatible DVR and provide separate 12 V DC power through the 2.1 × 5.5 mm jack. Protect connections and allow room for the cable bend and the final aiming angle.
This offer is for one ACTi Y72 camera with its integrated 2.8 mm lens. The 12 V DC power adapter, coaxial cable and recorder are separate purchases.
Check the DVR’s per-channel resolution and frame-rate limits for TVI, AHD or CVI. The mode and recording settings determine the detail you retain.

WHY THIS CAMERA
Position the turret beneath a rigid soffit or ceiling and set the aim mechanically. Check the door swing, the edge of the soffit and the bright areas outside before fastening it.
A 102.2° fixed horizontal view captures the near threshold and the approach. Aim the turret to keep the ceiling out of the top of the frame.
The 130 dB wide dynamic range helps balance a shaded canopy and brighter exterior. Infrared is rated up to 98 ft (30 m) after dark.
Use the existing BNC run where it is in good condition. Confirm that your DVR records the selected 5 MP signal and supply the camera with 12 V DC.
