AT A GLANCE
A wide 99° fixed view, 4MP video and a compact outdoor housing make the Z911 a practical choice for entrances and walkways.
4MP video at up to 25 fps helps you review a planned view. Choose a lower supported resolution for up to 30 fps.
The fixed 2.8mm lens covers 99° horizontally for a broad view of the approach.
Adaptive infrared provides black-and-white night viewing, with illumination rated up to 50 m.
People and vehicle detection, line crossing, intrusion and tamper alerts help focus your monitoring.
A compatible IEEE 802.3af PoE source supplies power and network data over Ethernet.
IP68 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance support outdoor use from −40°F to 140°F.
The ACTi Z911 combines 4MP video, a fixed 2.8mm F2.0 lens and a 99° horizontal view in a compact white outdoor mini dome. Position it above an entrance or walkway to capture people as they approach.
120 dB WDR balances bright and shaded areas. Adaptive infrared provides black-and-white night viewing, with illumination rated up to 164 ft (50 m). A built-in microphone adds one-way G.711 audio to a compatible recording system.
Use wired Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af PoE or a suitable 12V DC power source. Record through a compatible network recorder or VMS using H.264, H.265 or MJPEG. Match the selected resolution, recording bandwidth, audio and event functions to your recorder.

POWER, NETWORK & RECORDING
The camera sends video over Ethernet. A compatible PoE switch or injector supplies power, and a recorder or VMS saves the video to storage.
Use IEEE 802.3af PoE or DC 12V. Specified PoE consumption is 4W; check the port budget for the complete installation.
Simultaneous dual streams, H.265 Adaptive Stream, H.264 and MJPEG let you match video settings to the network and recording plan.
The built-in microphone provides one-way G.711 audio. Confirm that the recorder supports microphone recording and playback, and configure audio for the privacy requirements at your site.
Four privacy-mask regions can obscure selected parts of the scene. Use password-protected user levels, HTTPS encryption and IP address filtering as appropriate for the installation.
INSTALLATION
A well-planned wired installation starts with the scene and finishes with a protected network connection.
Choose a position that frames the entrance or approach. Test day and night views before completing the installation.
Check the PoE port budget and IEEE 802.3af compatibility, or plan a suitable DC 12V supply.
For a straight wall with the camera facing down, use one PMAX-0365 wall mount with its built-in junction box. Sold separately. For a 2.64–5-inch vertical pole, use the PMAX-0349 and PMAX-0527 assembly. Pole parts are sold separately.
Check the recorder or VMS version, licenses, storage, microphone support, and the events you intend to use.
