What’s included and what’s sold separately

Choose night lighting that suits the site

The ACTi Z722 is a wired outdoor camera. Use infrared where visible lighting would be distracting. When color detail helps you review a scene, configure the built-in white light and check the result at the installed position.

The fixed 2.8mm lens covers 97° horizontally. Record 2560 × 1440 at up to 25 fps, or 2304 × 1296 at up to 30 fps. Review the full specifications.

What will I see at night?

Adaptive infrared and configurable white light each reach up to 164 ft (50 m) under suitable conditions. Infrared produces black-and-white video. White light provides the visible illumination needed for color. Illumination reach and identification distance are different. Check the view at the subject distance you need.

Plan power and recording

Use IEEE 802.3af PoE for power and data on Ethernet, or supply compatible 12V DC power separately and use Ethernet for data. The camera is rated at 2.8 W over PoE. Record to a compatible recorder or VMS. Match the stream and event functions to the exact recording system, and size its storage for your schedule. Compare the optional recorders and setup requirements.

WHY THIS CAMERA

Choose night lighting that suits the site

Use infrared where visible lighting would be distracting. When color detail helps you review a scene, configure the built-in white light and check the result at the installed position.

Choose the framing before you mount

The fixed 2.8mm lens covers a 97° horizontal view. Choose the mounting position for the detail you need at your subject distance.

Plan for daylight and after dark
