Professional long-range coverage

See farther, reframe remotely, and verify activity in 4K

Built for large properties and professional sites where a fixed view cannot answer every question, this camera combines high-resolution recording, long optical reach, operator-controlled PTZ movement, and configurable analytics.

4K image detail

8MP video at up to 3840 × 2160 and 30 fps supports detailed scene review when recorder, network, and storage settings are configured accordingly.

Long-range optical reach

A motorized 7–210 mm lens provides 30× optical zoom without relying on a published or invented digital-zoom factor.

Remote PTZ control

Pan, tilt, presets, tours, and scans let an operator reframe the camera and revisit planned views remotely.

Configurable auto tracking

Person and vehicle auto tracking can follow qualifying subjects when visibility, configuration, firmware, and scene conditions support it.

Planned system support

ClearVero provides pre-purchase advice and after-sales assistance for compatible NVR, PoE+, cabling, storage, and installation planning.

Where it fits

A controllable view for expansive properties and active sites

Use the PTZ camera as one planned component of a broader security design wherever distance, changing activity, and operator-directed inspection matter.

Luxury homes and estate entrances

Inspect long driveways, gate approaches, guest-house routes, and selected areas of expansive grounds as part of a planned multi-camera design.

Large and multi-building properties

Reframe across service approaches, connecting roads, outdoor assets, and distant activity while fixed cameras maintain uninterrupted views where needed.

Warehouses and commercial facilities

Support operator-directed review of loading areas, vehicle entrances, delivery approaches, yards, and operational zones.

Campuses, parking, and perimeters

Monitor selected parking areas, fence lines, campuses, and large outdoor approaches with compatible recording and properly configured analytics.

Coverage planning: A PTZ camera observes only the direction it is facing. Fixed cameras may be required wherever uninterrupted multi-direction coverage is needed.

Verified capabilities

Commercial-grade detail, control, analytics, and deterrence

Feature support depends on compatible Lorex X Series equipment, firmware, configuration, network performance, lighting, weather, and scene conditions.

4K at up to 30 fps

The 8MP sensor records up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps, subject to stream, recorder, network, codec, and storage configuration.

30× optical zoom

The 7–210 mm motorized varifocal lens brings a selected distant area closer while narrowing the field of view.

Pan, tilt, presets, tours, and scans

Remote PTZ control and repeatable programmed views support operator-directed inspection. Tours and scans remain sequential, not simultaneous.

Detection and analytics

Person, vehicle, smart motion, intrusion, loitering, wrong-way, illegal-parking, line-crossing, people-counting, heat-map, and smoke/fire analytics are supported in compatible workflows.

Auto tracking

Person and vehicle tracking can automatically pan, tilt, and zoom to keep a qualifying subject centered. It is unavailable while presets, scans, or tours are active.

Long-range night vision

IR illumination is rated up to 820 ft / 250 m under ideal conditions. AI Color Night Vision requires sufficient ambient light.

Active deterrence

Red/blue lights, white light, siren, speaker, and prerecorded warnings support a visible and audible response in configured workflows.

Two-way audio

A built-in microphone and speaker support two-way communication. Audio recording may be subject to local laws and consent requirements.

PoE+ connectivity

IEEE 802.3at PoE+, RJ45 10/100 Base-T, ONVIF, and RTSP support flexible network installation with compatible equipment.

Plan before installation

Design the view, structure, network, and power path together

The camera weighs 8.82 lb / 4 kg and includes a wall mount and safety chain. Use a suitable supporting structure and hardware, maintain weather sealing, and test video and PTZ operation before permanent installation.

Directional PTZ coverage

Presets, tours, and scans inspect programmed views sequentially. They do not create simultaneous all-direction coverage. The 30× optical zoom narrows the field of view as magnification increases.

PoE+ and network requirements

Use IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or an approved alternate power method. The maximum PoE draw is 25 W. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cabling and confirm NVR channels, firmware, PoE budget, and feature support.

Mounting and safety

Use the safety chain, secure the mount to an appropriate structure, seal the RJ45 connection, and follow local requirements. Professional installation is recommended for elevated or complex work.

Important before purchase

Know what PTZ, zoom, tracking, and analytics can—and cannot—do

Real-world results depend on site design, system compatibility, firmware, configuration, target visibility, lighting, weather, network performance, and the camera's current viewing direction.

  • PTZ coverage is directional and does not show every direction simultaneously.
  • Presets, tours, and scans inspect locations sequentially; fixed cameras may be required for uninterrupted coverage.
  • Optical zoom narrows the field of view and does not guarantee identification at a particular distance.
  • Auto tracking depends on configuration and conditions and is unavailable while presets, scans, or tours are active.
  • The 820 ft / 250 m infrared figure applies under ideal conditions; color night vision requires sufficient ambient light.
  • Full feature support requires compatible Lorex X Series equipment and firmware.
  • ONVIF and RTSP do not guarantee full PTZ, analytics, audio, deterrence, recording, or app functionality.
  • IP66 means weather resistant, not submersible.
  • Audio recording may be subject to local laws.
  • Smoke and fire analytics are not a certified life-safety system.

Questions before purchase

Frequently asked questions

ClearVero can help confirm recorder, PoE, storage, cabling, and installation requirements before ordering.

What equipment is required to use this camera?

Use a compatible Lorex X Series NVR or an engineered IEEE 802.3at PoE+ network path. Confirm firmware, available channels, PoE budget, storage, and required features before ordering. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cable.

Does the camera see every direction at the same time?

No. PTZ coverage is directional. The camera records the direction it is facing, and presets, tours, and scans inspect views sequentially. Use fixed cameras where uninterrupted multi-direction coverage is required.

Does 30× optical zoom guarantee identification at long distance?

No. Optical zoom narrows the field of view and brings a selected area closer, but usable detail depends on distance, target size, atmosphere, vibration, focus, lighting, mounting, and recording conditions.

Is auto tracking always active?

No. Tracking depends on compatible equipment, firmware, configuration, visibility, lighting, and scene conditions. Auto tracking is unavailable while presets, scans, or tours are active.

What does the 820 ft / 250 m night-vision rating mean?

It is an infrared illumination figure under ideal conditions, not a guaranteed detection, recognition, or identification distance. Color night vision requires sufficient ambient light.

Will every ONVIF or RTSP system support all features?

No. Connectivity through ONVIF or RTSP does not guarantee full PTZ, analytics, audio, deterrence, recording, notification, or app functionality.

What is included in the box?

The camera, wall mount, safety chain, power adapter and cable, mounting hardware, Allen and Torx keys, ESD gloves, weather-resistant RJ45 cable gland, and six-pin wire connector are included. Ethernet cable, NVR, storage, network equipment, monitor, alternate mount, and installation are not included.

What warranty, support, and return coverage applies?

ClearVero provides Lorex Product Specialist guidance and displays a 3-Year Lorex Warranty for this product. ClearVero also provides personalized support, carefully selected and tested products, pre-purchase advice, after-sales assistance, simplified returns, and the standard 30-Day Return-Request Period.
