The Lorex Connect X Series 4K 8-Channel Wired NVR System with X3 Bullet Security Cameras - 2TB is a brand-new wired PoE surveillance system containing one black RNE01P-82B-AB1 XC 4K 8-channel NVR with a preinstalled 2TB hard drive and your selected 2, 4, 6, or 8 X3 4K PoE bullet cameras with motorized varifocal lenses. Choose Black cameras (CNE01P-2BB-AB1) or White cameras (CNE01P-2BW-AB1); camera housings and attached mounting bases match the selected finish, while the NVR remains black in every configuration. Camera Ethernet/PoE cables are not included.
- 4K detail and adjustable coverage: Each X3 camera records up to 3840 × 2160 and uses a 2.7–13.5 mm motorized varifocal lens with 5× optical zoom.
- Night monitoring: Color Night Vision is supported when ambient light is sufficient, with infrared illumination rated up to 131 ft / 40 m in total darkness under ideal conditions.
- Detection and deterrence: Supported tools include person and vehicle detection, intrusion, loitering, wrong-way and unauthorized-parking events, line crossing, people counting, warning light, siren, prerecorded messages, and two-way audio. Features can require compatible firmware, placement, configuration, and lawful audio consent.
- Local recording and expansion: The 8-channel NVR supports continuous, motion, and AI recording to the included 2TB drive. Its single SATA bay supports up to 12TB total storage.

One lens, an adjustable view
The motorized varifocal lens changes focal length within 2.7–13.5 mm while the mounted camera housing remains fixed.
8 MP image capture
Each X3 camera records up to 3840 × 2160 at 25 fps. Adjust framing with its motorized varifocal lens while the mounted housing stays in position.
Motorized optical zoom
The 2.7–13.5 mm f/1.6 varifocal lens adjusts its field of view remotely; this is lens adjustment, not camera pan or tilt.
Event filtering and analytics
Person, vehicle, intrusion, loitering, wrong-way, unauthorized-parking, line-crossing, and people-counting modes require appropriate setup.

Are camera Ethernet cables included?
No. Supply suitable Ethernet cable for each measured camera route. Recorder power and HDMI cables are included.
Are the included cameras wireless?
No. The cameras use wired Ethernet for power and data through PoE, or an appropriate 12 V camera power path where separately planned.
Does 5× optical zoom make these cameras PTZ?
No. The motorized 2.7–13.5 mm lens changes the field of view, but the installed bullet camera housing does not pan or tilt.
Where is video recorded?
The NVR records locally to its preinstalled 2 TB hard drive using continuous, motion, or AI-triggered modes. Each camera can also use an optional microSD card up to 1 TB; cards are not included.
