eufy PoE NVR Security System S4 Max (E8E00121) is a wired local-recording security system with one Network Video Recorder S4, four PoE Cam S4 cameras, and a preinstalled 2 TB mechanical hard drive. Each triple-lens camera combines a 4K fixed wide-angle view with two 2K PTZ views, 360-degree horizontal movement, and 8× hybrid zoom including 3× optical zoom. The system supports continuous 24/7 recording, local AI detection and Smart Video Search, cross-camera tracking, starlight, spotlight, and infrared night modes, IP65-rated outdoor cameras, and full-duplex two-way audio.

The NVR has eight native PoE ports and one 3.5-inch drive bay that supports a user-replaceable hard drive up to 16 TB. Each PoE Cam S4 uses two logical channels, so the recorder supports up to eight S4 Bullet-PTZ cameras; expansion toward sixteen logical channels applies to compatible single-stream eufy cameras and requires a separate PoE switch. The system is designed for eufy cameras and does not support third-party cameras or HomeBase 2/3. Supported wireless eufy devices require the separately sold NVR Wi-Fi Module T8709. The PoE NVR system does not support eufy Cloud storage.
